Did you know Tiny has a risograph printer? We do and we want to print your art, zine, comic—the options are endless. With 5 base colors to choose from our talented team is ready to push start on your order.

What is risograph printing?

Risograph printing is an efficient, cost-effective method for printing beautiful artistic designs from digital and original work. A risograph machine prints one color at a time, much like screen printing, but prints with the speed of a photocopier. It uses soy-based inks and uncoated paper. So not only will your prints be dazzling to look at, but you can feel good about your environmental impact.

Our current ink color options are black, bright red, fluorescent pink, yellow, teal, and medium blue. With these colors we can get a wide array of hues by overlapping inks. Risograph printing is a great budget-friendly print method for artists who want to make art prints, flyers, zines, and comics.

Print runs start at 12 prints per design.
Two standard print sizes: 8.5″x11″, 11″x 17″
In-house paper: Cougar smooth white 65lb
Specific colors and paper types available upon request
Standard turnaround time: 1 week from art approval.

Meet The Switchgrass Spirits Crew left to right: Sarah, Nick, Kate and Pat.

We chatted with Sarah and Kate about their business and here`s what we learned...

Sarah tells us about the business and how they got their start: "We`re a distillery that focuses on making bourbon, rye, brandy, and some delicious bottled cocktails! We wanted to create a business that respected workers, the environment, and customers by creating a quality whiskey that didn`t cut corners and focused on educating consumers about production methods."

Kate tells us about what you should know about their distillery and how it functions: "People often ask what the business hours of our distillery are. We are always so honored that someone is interested enough to want to stop by and we happily welcome visitors for Saturday tours, but we are not otherwise open to the public. Our worker-owned distillery is first and foremost an authentic production space for crafting spirits. We are so proud of it and excited to share it, but there is no front desk or tasting room."

They`re at the Tower Grove Farmers market every Saturday, which is a great place to taste. See slide 5 for more details 😃

Sarah tells us about the t-shirts Tiny has printed for Switchgrass: "We love your soft bella t-shirts...but especially love the way you print by removing the ink...so it doesn`t wear out after a bunch of washings. The shirts look great and people love to wear them, we love giving them away because people get so excited to get one. I see people I don`t know wearing our shirt on the internet now...it has a life of its own!"

Navigating the right file type and color choices the first time was a learning experience for me, but the Tiny team was so nice and helpful when altering the art and making it perfect for our crewnecks. They really took my art to a new level!"

Would you recommend that other artists work with us?

"Absolutely! If you are like me and have no idea where to start with prepping your artwork to be screen printed....they are your guys! They are patient and will help you with any questions you may have! I have learned a lot about preparing artwork for screen printing just by working with them."

This studio is a dream and it`s chock full of all the vintage and modern charm plus all the Care Bear Stares you deserve! Read more about Pastel Devil below from our interview with co-owner Angie Mueth.

How did Pastel Devil Get it`s Start?

"My business partner, Amelia McCormack and I worked at another shop together, and when the Pandemic hit, that shop decided not to re-open. We were both devastated as we loved that shop. So we decided to do it on our own! We opened in November 2020 as an inclusive tattoo studio, a safe space for all walks of life!"

What`s one of your favorite stories about Pastel Devil?

"I have had a client for a few years now. She`s amazing and love hanging out with her anytime she`s in my chair. One time she came in she told me that she used to feel so self conscious about her body but since she`s been getting tattooed by me, people compliment her! I think she put it like this, "They`re telling me my tattoos are beautiful, that I am beautiful!"
That is something I never expected doing this career, that I would help people in how they see themselves. That I can help them feel better in their own skin, I think that`s pretty amazing."

What is your favorite St. Louis spot?

"Summer time on top of the City Museum at night when they have concerts, that is one of my favorite Stl memories. Cafe Ganadara is my favorite restaurant right now, get you a Chi-bap and a Croffle and that`s a happy belly!"

We tried the oreo Croffle after this recommendation and it did not dissapoint!

Check out this incredible 50x70cm poster by William LaChance. Here`s what the artist had to share about the poster.

"These prints are for a project called The Jaunt which is a travel residency
program based in Denmark- The curator (Jeroen Smeets) contacts artists to
go anywhere around the world and then make a print based on the trip!

These particular prints were from The Jaunt Summer Camp in Joseph, Oregon-
Myself, Tim Biskup, Jillian Evelyn, Stevie Shao and Macarena Luzi along
with Jeroen Smeets spent time in Joseph this summer and we each made a
print that will be released March 1 at Chefas Projects in Portland
accompanied by an exhibit of original works based on the trip. The prints
will all be available at thejaunt.net You can see the print archive there,
they`ve done some really cool trips in the past with Swoon, Cleon Peterson,
Jean Jullien etc. etc.

I`m really thrilled to have collaborated with TLM on this!" Us too, William!
